In the final light of dusk, the starlings gather above the landscape. Their movement feels light and fluid, like a dance across the sky, as the colours along the horizon slowly shift from warm orange to deep blues and violets. At the centre of the scene, the church tower stands still — a fixed point beneath nature’s flowing motion.
The composition balances calm and movement. The dark silhouette of the land grounds the image, while the birds’ formation floats freely in the sky. The contrast between the human-made structure and the wild flock adds depth and reflection.
